The 100 season 4 episode 12 spoilers: Jaha’s struggle; how do you decide?
In the new video below via The CW, you can specifically see executive producer Jason Rothenberg do his part in order to set up more of what could be coming in this episode, especially in terms of the issues that Jaha now has with the new directive. These are 400 people who thought that they had made it to the bunker, and he had worked so hard to ensure that these people had this haven to wait out the next five years while the nuclear holocaust tore through the outside world. Now, hundreds of these people face the possibility of having to abandon this sanctuary and hope for the best somewhere else. Just put yourself in the position of one of these people. How in the world do you think that you would be able to survive in this situation? How would you react to having your entire future stripped away from you like this?
Jaha’s emotions in this episode are real, and certainly are understandable in the midst of everything that he’s going through.
One other thing to think about as this episode airs is the simple fact that Isaiah Washington will be leaving the show at the end of the season. This should very strongly influence everything that is going on with the Jaha story in these final two episodes. Maybe this story sets up his death as people turn against him; or, he decides to leave the world of the show and he is fluttering off in the wind somewhere. There are no answers at present, but this is a valuable question and something worth discussing over the next two weeks.
