NCIS season 14 finale spoilers: Delilah’s baby shower
In the sneak peek below, you can see Abby, Quinn, and some other members of the team do their part in order to properly prepare some sort of makeshift celebration around the office. McGee has some hesitations, and seemingly for a pair of separate reasons.
1. He’s not altogether sure that this is the baby shower that his new wife wants, since it doesn’t seem like they are so far along at the moment that they’ve spent a ton of time discussing it.
2. McGee also still seems to be feeling a little bit of hesitation when it comes to whether or not he’s going to be a great father at the same time. It’s understandable for him to be afraid. Consider this ultimately a reflection of what many other people in life would be saying at around this point.
The funny thing about this and about 95% of other NCIS sneak peeks known to mankind is that they all end fundamentally in the same way: Gibbs arriving, making some sort of clever segue, and a case kicking off. This is one that is going to take McGee, Gibbs, and Torres overseas on a rescue mission, and it is one that could put them all in a position where their lives could change in a big way by the time that the end of the episode airs.
One of the things that does remain a little bit exciting about this episode is that the writers / producers have done a great job of keeping things hush-hush. There isn’t a whole lot of information out there regarding just what the story is going to be, other than the fact that it’s going to probably carry over in some capacity to the upcoming 15th season of the show airing in the fall.
