Jane the Virgin season 3 finale spoilers: What’s next for Jane, Rafael?
This episode is obviously going to have a lot of ground to cover, given that in addition to the big ceremony for Rogelio and Xo, there are so many little snags that could upend all of their plans. While it’s easy to be sucked away by most of the show’s uproarious humor and at-times inspiration spirit, the reality here is that this is a show still with some very firm roots within the telanovela world, and there’s little reason for them to drift altogether far from that. This means that there will likely be some super-crazy stuff that happens over the course of the finale, though it’s rather hard to imagine that any of it is going to be anywhere near as crazy as anything that happened last season. The show set the bar high with what happened with Michael, and in retrospect it’s even worse given what ultimately transpired with the character at the end of the show.

Jane the Virgin season 3 finale synopsis – “Jane (Gina Rodriguez) struggles to find the right words for Rogelio (Jaime Camil) and Xo’s (Andrea Navedo) ceremony, when she learns about a mysterious letter that Michael wrote before their wedding. Rogelio and Xo are excited for their big day, but Rogelio gets some shocking news that could put things on hold. Once again Rafael (Justin Baldoni) is upset with Luisa (guest star Yara Martinez) and asks her to leave, but Luisa has a plan of her own. Meanwhile, Petra (Yael Grobglas) is skeptical about Jane’s feelings for Rafael which leads her to make a rash decision.”
