The Bachelorette: JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers celebrate one year

JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers

Mrs. Carter: JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers have made it to a key point in their engagement — one that surpasses many in Bachelor Nation!

In a pair of separate posts on Instagram, the Bachelorette from this past season and her fiance confirmed that they are celebrating one year of being together as an engaged couple. Filming for their season ended around this time, and for the first few months following this, the two parties had to spend much of their time living apart under a heavy veil of secrecy. It had to be somewhat interesting given that their relationship was fairly high-profile from the start — Jordan was one of the first people publicly confirmed to be a part of her season, and was certainly the biggest name on the show entering it. Kudos to both of them for finding a way to make their relationship work in a very cynical world, one in which the internet seems to think that the majority of couples from the show will end up breaking up.

Hopefully, there are many more years for JoJo and Jordan still to come! Wedding bells still seem to be far on the horizon, but it is admittedly something fun to think about.

The past Bachelor / Bachelorette winner to actually marry the person that they chose at the end of the season was Desiree Hartsock, who got engaged to Chris Siegfried at the end of their season in 2013. There are several couples who got engaged on the show who are still together, including Ben Higgins / Lauren Bushnell, Kaitlyn Bristowe / Shawn Booth, and of course the recent Bachelor Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi.

While JoJo and Jordan have this milestone, the new journey for one Rachel Lindsay is also getting set to wrap up! Filming for her season should end any day now in preparation for the big premiere of it a little bit later this month. While you wait for that season to air, one fun thing worth checking out is a very humorous piece from Saturday Night Live earlier this week spoofing her first night.
