NCIS: Los Angeles season 8 finale spoilers: Sam Hanna’s revenge tour

Sam Hanna's revenge tour

How do you move past what happened on NCIS: Los AngelesSam Hanna’s revenge tour is coming, and it’s going to be ugly.

With Sam, it makes sense for him to feel every single thing that he’s feeling. He just lost the love of his life in Michelle, and is such a position of numbness and sorrow that he cannot fully process it. He doesn’t want to go back to his children yet and help them cope with the loss; instead, he wants to kill people. He understands that there is no way he can go after Tahir or his people in an official capacity — he’s too close to the case — but he will do everything in his power to do so anyway. Callen is also completely complicit in whatever plan he has. He tells him in the sneak peek below that he’s good to go and has no issue doing whatever it is that needs to be done for the sake of justice. It’s going to be ugly, and it’s going to set the stage for one of the most emotional ends to a season to date.

While Sam and Callen go rogue, it’s going to be up to Deeks and Kensi to be the face of the operation. The power of the writing for the finale is that these two are placed into a position that they are not altogether familiar with, either. They want to do right by their friends and colleagues and preserve justice, but sometimes they may also find that Sam and Callen are in some ways interfering with whatever plans that the two of them have in order to ensure that justice is served.

Whatever happens, it’s going to be grab-a-tissue-worthy. Get ready for heartbreak, since eventually one assumes Sam will have that moment to realize that his children no longer have a mother. That is a tough pill to swallow and an incredibly difficult thing to process. As he does that, everyone else will be able to properly serve as a source of genuine comfort.
