Grantchester season 3 episode 4 spoilers: A cover-up murder case

Grantchester season 3 episode 4 synopsis – “Sidney and Geordie look into the killing of a young factory worker, despite mysterious forces attempting to bury their investigation. The body of Josephine Sutton is found below an open hatch high in the wall, dressed for a night out with a bottle of gin nearby. She appears to have fallen but Geordie is immediately suspicious as the scene looks staged. Is someone trying to cover up a murder?”

Grantchester is one of those shows defined mostly by the compelling characters and solid mysteries — we often don’t anticipate anything more than this, and we’re often rather happy with the results that we get. It’s impossible to get further into what the details of this case will be since the network is leaving that as a mystery as well – gotta tune in if you want to find out more!

In terms of the season’s structure, we’re going to be at the halfway point following tonight’s episode! There are still three more installments to come, so we’re excited to get a chance to see more of what could be coming up over the course of these episodes before the big finale and then subsequent hiatus we will have to suffer through the remainder of the year. Hopefully, someone considers another Christmas Special featuring some of these characters in the near future, not only to help tide fans over while they wait, but Christmas specials have done quite well over the years for British television, so why not join in on the fun?
