Real Housewives of Potomac preview: Monique and Gizelle all over again

Sunday night’s Real Housewives of Potomac episode is going to feature Monique and Gizelle doing something that should feel rather familiar to viewers at this point: Getting into argument that leads to Monique kicking her out of her party all over again. The video below gives you a pretty good idea as to what is going to happen, and also how Monique really isn’t going to have that much patience. She relates to Gizelle as a “puppy,” and there are other words thrown out there as a response, including “intimidation.”

In the end, though, this episode is mostly just going to feature these two people not really moving forward following the game-night party. That will probably be something that comes back a little bit later in the season, but for the remainder of the episode, there will be some other subjects to focus on. For a little more in the way of updates on those, the synopsis below offers up some further information.

Synopsis – “After Gizelle is kicked out of Monique’s party with her coat between her legs, Ashley continues to shuffle the deck — and deals Charrisse a low blow about her marriage. While Karen tries to find a buyer for her “outdated” home, Monique lands right in the middle of Potomac with a $4.7 million mansion. Worried about their friend, Gizelle and Charrisse decide to host a “Juantervention,” causing Robyn to take a hard look at her unconventional relationship. Should she stay or should she go?”

In terms of emotional stories, the Robyn – intervention one will likely be the one that hits home the most. It also touches on a major part of the Bravo franchise at the moment, which is relationships in rocky places. While Potomac hasn’t been hit with the breakup bug as badly as some other shows, it’s been running rampant over on the Atlanta series and we’ve certainly seen it make a mark on both the Orange County and New York City iterations over the past few years, as well. It’s a consequence of life, but it is also a consequence of being part of a franchise that can change and alter lives dramatically.
