Is Nick Viall leaving reality TV after The Bachelor, Dancing with the Stars?

Nick Viall leaving

At one point, Nick Viall was virtually everywhere within the world of reality TV. It started with The Bacheloretteand he then moved forward from there to another season of The Bachelorette. He then got a chance to appear on Bachelor in Paradise, and went from there to The Bachelor. His journey on Dancing with the Stars ended on this past episode with him being eliminated from the competition.

So after five different reality TV shows over the course of the past few years, could the journey actually be done for Nick? We know that there are other reality TV venues out there — Marriage Boot Camp has a history of casting Bachelor Nation alum — but we hope that he steers clear. It seems that most of the Bachelor alum who join that show don’t enjoy it, and in retrospect it just feels like a grab for either money or fame.

For the time being, Nick seems to be ready to move on. He’s got a new line in The Polished Gent coming out, he has a fiancee in Vanessa Grimaldi who seems focused on helping the disabled, and they seem to have a good path for the future. Why go back on reality TV anymore? This is what Nick seemed to suggest to Life & Style recently on the subject of his future:

“My time in reality TV is probably done … No helicopter rides, no bungee jumping, no scuba diving.”

You will likely still get some appearances from Nick on various reality shows here and there. He will be a part of the Dancing with the Stars finale a little bit later this season, and beyond that, he will also potentially turn up to help advise future Bachelors. Given that he is in Los Angeles and is very familiar to the ABC network, we can easily imagine ways for him to still be involved without him having a full-fledged show. Yes, we do realize that Freeform is also out there and they’ve been making Bachelor spin-off shows here and there, but we don’t know how much more interest there is in them at this point.
