The Voice spoilers: What Hunter Plake, TSoul, Chris Blue, top 11 will sing

TSoul

Ready for some more The Voice spoilers? There is a new episode airing on NBC tonight, and we’ve got songs from TSoul, Chris Blue, and others.

These spoilers are courtesy of some of the iTunes listings, and we’re a little half-and-half regarding the choices. Some of them are making smart decisions here. However, we’re pretty worried about some of the others based on what we’ve seen on singing shows over the years.

Team Adam

Mark Isaiah, “How to Love” – At this point, Mark’s got nothing to lose. We’ll just give him credit for trying to be current.

Jesse Larson, “Human” – We love the song, but it’s not the best one for singing-show contestants to do since it’s a slow burn.

Lilli Passero, “Town Without Pity” – Really? It’s a surprising choice, but we’ll see how she fares with it as she needs a bump in sales.

Team Blake

Aliyah Moulden, “Take It Back” – Hey, Blake has a real knack for giving country leanings to non-country artists. We can see this working.

Lauren Duski, “Somewhere in My Broken Heart” – Just go ahead and give her a top 20 ranking on iTunes for this already.

TSoul, “Lay Me Down” – A tad expected, but it’s a beautiful song that he should be able to do.

Team Alicia

Chris Blue, “When a Man Loves a Woman” – Why? He’s probably our favorite of the season, but this song’s been done SO many times already.

Stephanie Rice, “Behind Blue Eyes” – It’s been a minute since we’ve heard it. This should be a winner for her.

Vanessa Ferguson, “Diamonds” – This is an odd song given that in theory, it should work; yet, we’ve seen contestants in the past be eliminated for it.

Team Gwen

Brennley Brown, “River” – Brennley killed it on iTunes last week. She’ll probably do just as well here.

Hunter Plake, “All I Want” – Another winner for Hunter, and smart choice by Gwen to steer him in this direction.

Going into the episode, we’re probably the most excited for Stephanie, Hunter, Lauren, Brennley, and Chris, just because he’s Chris. We’re worried about almost all of Team Adam, and worry that Vanessa could face an unexpected challenge with this song.
