Line of Duty season 4 episode 6 (finale) spoilers: Roz’s last stand
Also, it may be unfortunately the departure of Thandie Newton. We know that Roz Huntley was never meant to be a permanent character with the series, but it’s absolutely been rather nice to have her be a part of it. We also feel like the show’s been the lucky recipient of some serendipity in terms of getting her on the show now. It’s enabled them to draw significantly more attention to the series than what they would have otherwise received. Thank Westworld and its enormous popularity around the world for that. The fact that not everyone knew beforehand how sensational Newton is remains one of the biggest surprises out there.
Now, let’s look to sharing a few details about the final chapter … even if there is not all that much to share.
Line of Duty season 4 episode 6 synopsis – “Police drama series. While Nick Huntley faces lengthy questioning, AC-12 remain convinced of Roz’s involvement.”
Understandably, the BBC is not interested in bringing all that much to the table. The AC-12 is going to look for a way to bring a little bit more attention to Roz and what she’s done, but there are likely going to be two issues standing in their way — other members of the police force who are not altogether keen on what the unit does, and then of course Roz herself. You have to remember that she’s been able to outsmart the unit once already. With that, there’s a reasonably good chance that she will be able to do that again unless the team’s really learned their lessons.
So far, Roz’s moves have gone so far as to try and pin the Ifield murder on Nick. Now, the team has to find a way to ensure that this doesn’t stick and for them to get all the answers they seek.
