Call the Midwife season 6 episode 4 teasers (PBS): Shelagh’s struggle

Midwife season 6 episode 4

Sunday night’s Call the Midwife season 6 episode 4 marks the halfway point in the story, and also a very important episode for Shelagh. The character will be struggling in the wake of a hospitalization, and her pregnancy is turning out to be far more difficult than planned. In many ways, this is the culmination of everything that she’s always wanted; yet, there are so many different complications that she will be running into.

Luckily, the new teaser below (as revealed by PBS) does a rather-great job of making it clear just what sort of strong, passionate support Shelagh is going to have courtesy of not only many other doctors, but also her own husband in Dr. Turner.

Want some further teasers for Sunday’s new episode? We’ve got a great assortment of them for you now below…

1. You will see Dr. Turner offer up some consolation to another character who is experiencing a little bit of doubt and insecurity over the course of the episode.

2. Meanwhile, Trixie’s going to have her biggest story to date, one that will be very emotional (hey, this is Call the Midwife and could end up giving her a chance to collaborate with someone that she has quite the history with.

3. Despite this being by and large another tear-jerker, we do think that there will be a moment or two at the end of the episode that serves to help lighten the mood a little bit. This is certainly something that you should be on the lookout for.

4. By the end of the episode, let’s just say that there could be some talk around a new hire at Nonnatus. Given that it’s not altogether clear as to when we are going to see Patsy Mount returning, it makes a little bit of sense for the house to recruit a little bit in the way of additional assistance to make things run a little bit smoother. Could this potential new hire be someone you’ve already seen this season? It’s certainly possible…
