Teen Wolf season 6 spin-off ideas: Could any of these work?
Now that we’ve said that, we do think that this is a fun subject to think about! With that in mind, we’ve come up with a few different ideas just in cast MTV really does ever want to ponder over anything over the course of the next several months.
Teen Wolf: The Next Generation – Keep Liam around, and then bring in a younger crowd to surround him. This is the most natural extension of what’s already here, but maybe you can argue that it’s a little too similar to what’s out there already.
Keeping Up with Kira – Can we go track down Arden Cho and really explore her world and that mythology further? It feels like this was one of the show’s biggest missed opportunities over the course of the time she was a series regular on the show.
Ransom Werewolf Origin Story – Find some of the first werewolves and go back in time to focus more on their story. Think of this as the Teen Wolf version of The Originals, where you can connect what’s happening way back when with what’s happening in the present day.
The final idea we have is more of companion show than a spin-off, since you wouldn’t be using any character in the established universe. Why not take a look at a potential series about someone famous, whether it be a pop star, an athlete, or an Instagram / YouTube star, who had a secret supernatural ability? How do you live that life while keeping this from the world? This opens up a different avenue that would be rather fun to explore; also, it feels like the perfect fit for the MTV market in particular. Granted, we know that there are shows like True Blood that have done something similar, but it was more with supporting characters rather than leading roles.
Now, let’s turn this over more to you. Is there anything that you want to see in terms of possibly Teen Wolf spin-off shows? Share some of your thoughts now in the comments!
Meanwhile, you can head over here in the event you want some other news when it comes to the show as we await its big return to the air. (Photo: MTV.)

TW has been hemorrhaging viewers since season 3, apart from a small, voracious fandom there’s little call for it. A whale in a goldfish bowl, a poor man’s Buffy with somewhat pathetic werewolves. Let it die in peace!
