If you’ve been following some of the Bull spoilers that are out there across the internet, then there is a good chance that you’ve heard a thing or two already about some of the Eliza Dushku news that is floating around out there. The actress is set to appear in the final episodes of this season, and depending on what happens in the off-season, she could come back as a series regular moving forward into season 2.
Dushku will first appear on the May 9 episode that carries with it the title of “Welcome Back, Dr. Bull.” Want to know some more details about it? Well, you should know that Dushku’s character is that of criminal attorney J.P. Nunnelly, someone who is extremely smart and capable, and someone hired in order to defend Benny after he goes to trial for misconduct. This is a case that ties back to his career as a prosecutor, so you should think about this as a way to touch back on his past while paving a way for his future.
In some ways, it’s exciting to have a chance to be able to learn a little bit more about Benny’s past … especially since there’s a good chance that J.P. will be working on this case for some time. What we also know that after Bull calls in this favor from her, he may have to come up with some unique ways to pay this forward. This could involve him having to go and help out on some of her cases in order to return the favor. We’re not going to be upset about the idea of having her around for a while.
What we can tell you about the finale airing later in May is that while Bull will be working with J.P. on a different case during it, there are going to be some rather big clashes that take place over the course of the hour. Can two people like J.P. and Bull, who are both so good at their job, get along? We’re going to have to wait and see.
One way or another, though, it does sound like a fun episode is coming up.
