Once Upon a Time season 6 finale will have complete feeling
Just in case you are interested in getting the specifics, here is what Edward Kitsis had to say to TVLine:
“Any changes that we have to accommodate have been accommodated … We planned this finale from the beginning of the year, so whoever stays and whoever goes… all those questions have already been dealt with. The audience does not have to fear [anything feeling] incomplete.”
This of course serves as a cause of relief, as does the fact that there’s been an awareness for a long time now that there could be some people leaving at the end of the season. Most of the rumors out there have suggested that we’re going be seeing the end for Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas as series regulars at the end of the season, but that hasn’t been confirmed by anyone just yet. What we do know is that Jennifer Morrison, Lana Parrilla, Colin O’Donoghue, and Robert Carlyle have been in talks to extend their contracts. Beyond that, not too much is clear. It would be strange to see a season 7 without some of the characters, but we also understand the desire to do so. After all, doing this allows the crew up in Vancouver to keep their jobs, and if the powers-that-be do have a great idea for how the story for some of these characters should continue, we don’t want to be the one to tell them that it’s a bad idea without even seeing it.
Plus, if any actors do end up leaving at the end of the season, there’s a pretty good chance that they could still appear down the road as guest stars.
Before we do eventually get around to the finale, there are some other episodes that are worthwhile viewing! That includes the one that you’re going to get a chance to check out on Sunday, which will feature Tiger Lily in Neverland, plus an attempt to revive Snow and Charming.
