The Bachelorette promo: Rachel Lindsay has a little fun
In the video below, you can see Rachel smiling, having fun, and embracing life. Ironically, the twist here is that none of the footage in this promo is actually from Rachel’s season. This is all from when she was a part of Nick Viall’s season, and there are likely two different reasons for that.
1. Rachel’s season is currently filming – Producers probably don’t want to give too many contestants away! The show is now in the international stage of filming, and this is where things start to get super-secretive. For the first part of the season, we saw a little more of a willingness on their part to highlight where Rachel was and some of the stuff that she was up to, but there’s going to be less of an interest in doing that now with the show know that it’s better to keep things hush-hush. If too many shots of contestants get out, then people who are fans overseas will know who to look for. (They already know a few people.)
2. They probably don’t have much footage ready – Beyond maybe the first episode or two, we’re not sure if anything is neatly packaged together just yet for the show to air. They’ve still got plenty of time with the premiere of the show more than a month away; they’ll start releasing more in the way of specific footage when the show’s a little bit closer to coming back.
We imagine that at around the middle of the month, we’re going to have a chance to see the full cast for the season revealed. We’re not sure that there will be time to spotlight all of them, but there should be some highlights here and there. It’s a part of what makes the show fun!
