Agents of SHIELD season 4 episode 18 promo: Can Jemma get to Fitz?
Let’s not beat around the bush here, since there will be so much more to discuss on the subject as we get further and further into the night.
Agents of SHIELD season 4 episode 18 synopsis – “The truth behind Fitz’s turn could bring down all of S.H.I.E.L.D.”
Yep, that’s all that ABC is giving you this time around, but that makes sense given the odd structure of things to date with the Framework, and the way that certain mysteries need to be constructed for the entire story to even work in the first place. The big takeaway here ultimately should just be that you’ll get answers to many questions in the episode … though we do have questions regarding whether or not the “No Regrets” title really does apply.
(Warning: Spoilers ahead from tonight’s episode…)
What we saw tonight is that Fitz’s turn was so sharp, he was willing to kill Agnes just because Madame Hydra wanted him to, all in front of Jemma. While it may be true that this is not the same version of Fitz that Jemma knew from outside the Framework, we don’t quite know how you come back from something like this. Jemma could always see this side of him in his eyes from now on. It’s not an easy thing for her to overlook, let’s just put it that way.
Promo – Sure, this is a lot about Fitz, but there is also some other great stuff in here when it comes to May, Daisy, and some of the other characters. the Framework, judging from this alone, is about to explode.
Is there anything that you want to see coming up on Agents of SHIELD season 4 episode 18? What do you think that the future is going to hold for Fitz? Be sure to share what you think in the comments!

I hope we find out what project Looking Glass is. Coulson and Mack already joined “Team Resistance” and, other than them and Reverse Ward, the deep, battle-weary Mace might as well _be_ the Resistance. May is acting surprisingly “in character”, all things considering. She’s in too deep and by far the most traumatised, so it’s safe to assume she would be tougher to rescue than e.g. Coulson. But… the whole point of last episode was to prove that the Doctor is NOT Fitz. They _could_ be going for the “evil twin” twist (since they can’t pool it on Fury), but I fear the worst: that Fitz’s soul is lost forever! Maybe he’ll die in the Framework, or maybe the Doctor will wake up on Fitz’s body and they’ll have to terminate him… It’s sad that he barely hooked up with Simmons (that had been his dream since season 1), but unless they pool the “evil twin” twist, I’m afraid that’s the end of one of my favourite characters! I hope they don’t go all Torchwood in the end and kill both Fitz AND Simmons!
