Lucifer season 2 episode 14 spoilers: Will Lucifer find his way back?

Lucifer season 2 episode 14 spoilers

If you are hungry for some Lucifer season 2 episode 14 spoilers, hopefully this new information satisfies! Leading up to the show’s return to Fox come May 1, some of the first information is starting to crop up about “Candy Morningstar.” At first, that may sound like a really random title for an episode, but the more you hear about it, the more it starts to make sense.

Specifically, this episode will feature an appearance from Lindsey Gort, formerly known as Samantha Jones from The Carrie Diaries. As for the role she’ll be playing over the course of the hour, let’s just say that she’ll be “bonded” with Tom Ellis’ character after he vanishes following everything that happened in the first part of the season. Per SpoilerTV, you can see the installment’s synopsis in full below:

“Two weeks after Chloe’s (Lauren German) near death, Lucifer (Tom Ellis) has gone off the grid, cutting off all contact from his family and the police department. He materializes just in time to help solve an up-and-coming guitarist’s murder and introduces the department to a ditzy stripper named Candy (guest star Lindsey Gort), a mysterious new woman in his life. While Lucifer’s mom (Tricia Helfer) desperately tries to contact her son, Chloe tries to push him away. Lucifer must find a way to prove himself in order to be invited back onto the team.”

It’s hard to imagine Lucifer season 2 progressing without the title character working with the remainder of the team, so with that, our hope is merely that they don’t make it all that easy for him to get back. You do want to hope for a certain degree of challenge, largely given that beyond that, the story would be rather boring and it wouldn’t go anywhere. Lucifer and Chloe have that degree of destiny around them, and as a result of that, we do have this hope that they are destined to continue working together in some capacity.

Remember that this episode is just one of a small handful that will be airing over the course of the month of May. Because of the way in which Fox’s schedule has worked out, there are four episodes that are being pushed over to season 3. This in turn could end up making that season somewhat supersized.
