Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion: Start time and drama galore
The first thing that really makes this reunion stand out is the fact that we’re looking at one that will be seriously lasting for a whopping four hours. Do we really need a reunion that goes for that long? Not in the slightest, but we probably shouldn’t act all that surprised about it. Somehow, these reunions always do tend to go longer and longer — by the time we get a season or two down the road, it wouldn’t shock us if we were suddenly getting some of these reunions in real time almost like we were watching a season of 24.
Based on the extended trailer below, we do get a sense as to what some of the talking points.
Rumors – Of course, everyone’s going to be talking about supposed lesbian relationships, which isn’t a shock given how much people really did want to spill all of the tea on them throughout the majority of the season. Multiple women will be asked about their past by Andy Cohen, not that this is really all that much of our business in the first place.
Past relationships – This was a season of breakups unfortunately, with many different ladies on the show seeing their relationships start to fall apart. We’re going to get a chance to see some of them start to speak out now about what they went through, and where they are now.
Conflict – There will be shouting, accusations, screaming, tears, and of course everyone’s favorite where people storm off the stage only to get coerced to go back on. Cohen will get involved at some point, trying to do that delicate balancing act of a talk show host and a therapist.
Odds are, you’ll love this reunion is you’ve loved all of the others. They do still have some great moments, but there are also times where they’ve started to feel a little bit artificial, like you can anticipate the majority of the moments, when they happen, and the aftermath of them.
