Bull season 1 finale forecast: How will Michael Weatherly series end?
Still, we do have to face the fact that the season is going to be coming to a close next month, and with that we want to do our best to try and spotlight some of what should happen as we close out the season, and also potentially what will.
What should happen – We never thought that we’d make a comparison between Bull and Dwayne Johnson’s Ballers over at HBO, but there is an interesting one to make in that the two series share a rather similar flaw and that’s the lack of flaws in their main characters. Ballers did present some major ones for Johnson’s character of Spencer Strasmore at the end of the season, and it was important to see him fail and have that moment of vulnerability. Weatherly’s Jason Bull has had a few stumbles here and there, but we would argue that, for the most part, he’s had a pretty comfortable road so far on the series. Bull could benefit from finding some ways to challenge him and have him face failure. We’re not altogether sadistic by any means, but we do want to see him struggle a little more than he does.
End this season with Bull at a low, and then allow season 2 to be almost akin to his redemption story.
What will happen – We know that Eliza Dushku will be appearing at the end of the season in a role that could lead to her becoming a regular for Bull season 2 premiering (presumably) this fall. While it is a little too early to know for sure what the remainder of the story will be, knowing CBS we are looking at a show that will find some ways to challenge the Bull character that he hasn’t been to date.
