Grey’s Anatomy season 13 episode 20 promo: The Meredith – Riggs story

If you ‘ship Meredith and Riggs, then Grey’s Anatomy season 13 episode 20 could be one for the ages. You’ve waited to learn whether or not we could end up seeing the two blossom into a more romantic relationship, and the episode ahead is going to be a chance to see where they stand. Maybe this will be the time in which Ellen Pompeo’s character decides to go through with a relationship with him; it’s either that or we get to the alternative, which is that this episode gives you an opportunity to see her show little interest in being with him long-term at all.

The fact that the episode is named after a Phil Collins song in “In the Air Tonight” really just is the icing on the cake, at least to us. That’s throwing a whole level of awesomeness out there for us to experience.

Grey’s Anatomy season 13 episode 20 synopsis – “Meredith and Nathan have to confront their feelings when they are are stuck sitting next to each other on a plane.”

The one thing that we’re worried about entering this episode should be rather obvious to almost anyone — Meredith and airplanes do not have the best history. Nobody would blame her if being suspended in the air ends up becoming a great source of either fear or anxiety for her.

No matter where this episode goes, it nonetheless remains exciting for us to have an opportunity to see a great performance from both Pompeo and Martin Henderson. These sort of standalone episodes are coming frequently in the back half of the season, and we don’t mind that given that it does offer up some great opportunities for individual performers to shine. This one is coming after we already had a great episode for April and Jackson earlier this season, and also how we had an opportunity to see a standalone that threw Bailey, Arizona, and Jo into prison of all places to deal with a difficult patient.

Promo – This focuses of course on Meredith and Riggs, and those moments of turbulence are legitimately scary — at least to us.
