Is The 100 new tonight? What’s ahead for Eliza Taylor, cast
Unfortunately, we do come now bearing bad news. Alas, there is no new episode of The 100 on The CW tonight, and season 4 episode 9 will not officially premiere until we get around to Wednesday, April 26. It’s a long wait, but the reasons for it are understandable — this is a network that likes to keep its programs on the air until close to the end of May, and if they were to air The 100 weekly the rest of the season, that just wouldn’t happen unless they were able to suddenly pull new episodes out of thin air for Eliza Taylor in company. (That’d be great, but also not feasible.)
Following this hiatus, there will be no more breaks between now and the finale. There are in total 13 episodes this season, which means that there are five more stories to be told. Of those, you can expect that the threat of mass annihilation will continue to pervade the story — not that you likely expected anything less. When you’ve got a show that threats a possible nuclear holocaust, you have to try to deliver on that regardless of however grim it may be.
The good news while you watch these episodes is that The CW won’t make you wait until the finale to learn if the show is coming back — we already know that it will. While the specifics for The 100 season 5 are not known as of yet, we hope that it stays with the current format — it functions well within the 13-episode format, and it doesn’t overwork either the writers or the cast. We wish the ratings were slightly better, but they are obviously still good enough to keep the show on the air. For the time being, that’s enough to put a smile on our face.
Alas, there is no The 100 season 4 episode 9 synopsis out as of yet, but we’re sure that there will be before the episode airs. With that in mind, we’ll be sure to give you a future article with that information.
