Survivor: Game Changers episode 6 sneak peek: Swap, former player talk
Specifically, our assumption is that we could be seeing things go from three tribes down to two, which to us means one thing more than anything else: Sandra’s in some big trouble. She’s made some great moves, but the issue she has is that she’s a two-time winner from an original tribe down big in the numbers. We can’t see there being many places for her to hide now. Even if she, Michaela, and Jeff Varner are all still together, they could be down in the numbers. If she gets on a new tribe with someone like Troyzan, maybe she has a shot in that situation.
Otherwise, you can argue that Brad Culpepper could be a target just because he’s such an obvious tribe head, and someone who can’t make himself less of a target. The twist of someone going to Exile Island is interesting, but we figure it’s similar to Kaoh Rong when we saw Julia go off there until after Anna was voted out of the game.
Who’s coming back? – We’ve talked about this a lot, but our feeling in the end is that rather than seeing someone join the game, we’re seeing someone come back as either a host for a challenge or a reward of some sort, whether it be a strategy talk or survival skills similar to Rupert on the Israeli version of the show. We should note that Boston Rob said on Twitter (see below) that he is the person coming back, but he also said that on April Fools’ Day. Take that with a grain of salt for now.
It’s just hard to see too many other scenarios happening with the whole returning-player twist, mostly because we can imagine what some of the fan revolts would be if they allowed someone to come into the game at this point with no experience in prior Tribal Councils. This isn’t Celebrity Big Brother, people! You gotta give everyone some semblance of a level playing field.
