Teen Wolf season 6: Tyler Posey’s Scott, Dylan O’Brien’s Stiles get Funko Pop! treatment
The photo below via the show’s official Twitter account gives you a good sense of what you’re going to see in the form of three different figures — Scott (Tyler Posey), Stiles (Dylan O’Brien), and Werewolf Scott. These three will become available in May, and seem very much to be the sort of thing that almost any devoted fan of the franchise would want. They’re fun, and they’re also certainly easy to store. We admit to being a bigger fan of Pop! figures than most, given that we currently own six different Mass Effect ones. (Collector advice — get them all sooner rather than later. Eventually certain figures become retired, and they are a lot more expensive to pick up after the fact. We saw just this past weekend a Pop! version of the Genie from Aladdin sell for over $250 while at WonderCon in Las Vegas.)
We’d love for there to be some additional figures released down the road — who wouldn’t want to see a Lydia or a Malia? — but we’ll have to wait on that.
Unfortunately, these guys won’t make the waiting go by any faster between now and when the show comes on the air … though we really wish that they could. This is a show that is gearing up to go out potentially with the biggest bang that it possibly could, and with huge stories for several of its characters. We’re jumping forward in time and we’re going to be seeing the return of many other characters who aren’t regulars on the show anymore.
We imagine that at some point over the next month and a half, there’s a good chance that we are going to see all sorts of great stuff — whether it be a new promo or some other teases for what is going to be coming up next. Let’s hope for some more great stuff coming up!
