Feud: Bette & Joan episode 6 spoilers: Is a reunion near?
The only reason that you would think of this as a possibility is simple — Bette Davis and Joan Crawford both want money. They also want fame, and the reality here is that there aren’t all that many people out there interesting in hiring them. They’ve got to take on roles at any chance that they can, and being a part of a What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? follow-up may be one of the only ways in order for that to happen.
Granted, the idea of this actually happening is enough to make your head fall completely off your neck. These two were volatile before, and you certainly have to imagine that they will be even crazier now when you consider what they went through with the Academy Awards. Do you really think that we’re going to be seeing such an interest in working with each other much more? For the time being, we certainly label this “doubtful” unless there is something dramatic and change-changing coming up for the two of them.
Feud: Bette & Joan episode 6 synopsis – “Hungry for another hit, Warner pressures Aldrich to bring the original team back together for a follow-up hag horror pic. Someone from Joan’s past poses a threat.”
The title for the episode is a clear reference to the fact that Warner may be looking at the just taking advance of the name recognition for both Joan and Bette as a way to make easy money. Basically, we’re talking about it trying to exploit the stars for the means of making a lot of money. What Bette and Joan choose to do with the offer is up to them, but we’re starting to get near the end of the episode. There are only three more episodes for Feud: Bette & Joan, so one way or another, we’re going to see things start to wind down shortly.
