Homeland season 6 episode 12 (finale) spoilers: ‘America First,’ unnerved
Earlier on (during the writing of the season), you could get a sense that the show was working with the assumption that Hillary Clinton would win the Presidency. However, things clearly had to change over time, and this title is a specific reference to one of the slogans of Donald Trump’s campaign. We know that there are no coincidences when it comes to Homeland, so the same can likely be said about what we’re going to see in this episode — at the very least thematically. Given that we already have President Keane, we’re not going to see Trump turning up anywhere on this episode. Yet, there may be a lot of chaos, and reactions that come from a controversial policy. Homeland is so very relevant, making it terrifying, and thought-provoking. We absolutely expect nothing less from what we’re going to be seeing from the remainder of the season.
Homeland season 6 episode 12 synopsis – “Season 6 ends as pieces fall into place.”
Yes, Showtime is not revealing much information about the episode, but this is the finale, so it’s expected that the network would want to keep everything a secret. Maybe someone’s in danger, but they’re not saying for now. The only thing that we have to go on, (outside of the promo), is the news of a Homeland season 7 coming down the road.
Promo – Based on what we’ve got below, this is going to be the episode that “changes everything.” With some shows, we wouldn’t believe it. With Homeland, we do. If they’re hyping something like this up, we buy into it completely. Brace yourselves.

If I could tell Showtime one thing it would be that for every fake Alex Jones, there is a David Brock

There are things that need resolution. IMO the most satisfying would be the end of Dar either by jailing or…well you know. How long will Carrie stay off her meds? Last time it was drastic. A common factor in Homeland is a lack of resolution. This could be realistic but again I have a feeling this show is on it’s downside and people will turn away as they seem to have run out of ideas.
