Chicago Justice episode 8 promo: When cyber-crime turns deadly

Chicago Justice episode 8

When Chicago Justice episode 8 airs on NBC next week, it’s going to do so with a story entitled “Lily’s Law” that looks to be emotional. This also could end up being a case that is very relevant to present-day issues regarding cyber-crimes, online bullying, and the psychological impact that it has on people. So often there are people who tend to brush it off, ignorant as to what the lasting impacts of it could be. Hopefully, this episode shines a light on the issue to some of these people. Maybe they’ve simply been so lucky as to never experience it before.

The crime Stone’s looking to prosecute in this episode is not only severe, but the way in which it comes about should only add to the attention put on the case.

Chicago Justice episode 8 synopsis – “When a female juror on Stone’s (Philip Winchester) case against a gangbanger winds up dead, the team believes she was murdered because of her guilty vote. They later learn that she committed suicide – driven to it by the cyber harassment of her former boyfriend. Stone goes after him for murder.”

Typically on crime series, you tend to see cases that are first labeled suicides become murders down the road. However, in this case we are seeing the show change things up ever so slightly. We have here a suicide, but there are still reasons to label someone else as responsible. This former boyfriend could be responsible for what happened, and if there’s one person we would count on in order to get some reasons, it’s a guy like Peter Stone.

Promo – Based on what you can see below, we’re gearing up for one of the most controversial cases that we’ve ever seen on the show to date. Whether or not Stone is going to be able to get what he wants out of this is no easy task.

There are only a handful of episodes left for Chicago Justice, so let’s just hope that this series gets a season 2 at some point soon!
