Hawaii Five-0 season 7 episode 20 sneak peek: Rachel returns
In the sneak peek below, though, you see her return be hardly a happy, celebratory one. Instead, she makes it clear to Danny that she’s getting a divorce from Stan — she says that it’s been bad for a while, and she’s starting to question whether she is even proper marriage material given that she has a habit of having some of these relationships turn out rather badly for her.
This is a softer, more personal sneak peek than some of the ones that you tend to get from the show. Even though they’re not together at this point, there are obviously a lot of feelings and care that Danny and Rachel do still have for each other. They’re a big part of one another’s lives, and Danny wants to make sure that she is okay.
Beyond just the content of this sneak peek, this is a rather nice one to have thanks solely to the fact that Danny hasn’t had a lot of super-personal stories for him in the second half of this season. He had a huge episode earlier this season with the winter formal, but he’s been MIA here and there. This should be a nice chance to focus back in on the character and see him with someone who’s important to his life.
Oh, and don’t forget the main story for the episode revolving around the return of PI Harry Brown, who is coming back as a means to help solve the case of a kidnapped affluent woman. It won’t take long for some of the team to surmise that the husband may have something to hide.
