Dancing with the Stars 24: Nick Viall, Mr. T support judges’ scores

judges' scores

Are the Dancing with the Stars judges’ scores a little too harsh or unfair? Thanks to Charo and her remarks both during and after this past episode of the show, that seems to be one of the sentiments out there.

Unfortunately, this controversy has cast a somewhat negative light on what is otherwise a fun, positive, and really entertaining show. We don’t want to root for anyone to be booted from the show, but it’s also hard to cheer on someone who doesn’t seem to understand the base purpose of the competition. It’s not so much about winning as it is having fun and entertaining.

What we find a little more interesting than even some of the tabloid stories that are out there about Charo is how some of the Stars themselves seem to be reacting to her presence on the show. Specifically, they don’t love the idea of someone criticizing their scores. While Mr. T doesn’t name Charo by name, he does make it clear in a post on Twitter that he is grateful to the judges for their comments, and hopes that he can improve and get better for the next show. (Mr. T also made it clear that he is planning to donate a whole heap of money from the show to charity, so there’s another reason to root for him to stick around — as if you needed another one.)

Meanwhile, Nick Viall also chimed in with some of his thoughts on the matter, seemingly making it clear that he is in total agreement with what Mr. T said. They’re keeping the right attitude about the experience, and that’s great both in terms of making the show and its team happy, and then also making the fans happy. Both have a long way to go to make it to the finale, but we do think they both should last for another episode or two. They’re two of the larger personalities this season, and we say that knowing that this is one of our favorite casts in a while.

Over the weekend, we’ll share our take on some of the dance spoilers for the coming episode, so be sure to keep track of all things pertaining to this show over here.

Meanwhile, let us know your excitement for the coming episode in the comments, and on the way Nick and Mr. T seem to be handling everything. (Photo: ABC.)
