Dancing with the Stars 24: The Charo drama reportedly continues
In the ballroom this past episode, you could see that she wasn’t altogether pleased with some of the scores that the judges gave her — specifically, she and Bruno Tonioli are not looking as though they’re going to be the best of friends. This is probably the best Bruno feud that we’ve seen since he completely bashed Michael Bolton back when he was up on the show and dressed like a dog.
So what’s the issue now? Well, a source tells E! News that “Charo was super upset this week about her scoring and she feels like she’s being treated and scored very unfairly … She is seriously upset.” The source also claimed that she’s contemplated walking away from the show, which we seriously doubt happening because nobody wants to go out in that way. We do, however, think it’s very likely that we end up seeing her sent home on Monday night’s show. Her scores aren’t good, and we don’t think her feud with Bruno is the sort that wins her any favors. There is such a thing as a fun feud, but we seen this one as more uncomfortable than anything and we figure that there are a good many people out there who feel the same.
Let’s make it clear that Charo’s rep denies any unhappiness on her part; specifically, they claim that “Charo loves ABC and DWTS and she appreciates the opportunity afforded to her to be a part of the show.” Take that for what you will. We don’t think that there’s really much of a reason to be transfixed on much of the rumors just because she’ll probably be gone from the show at any point in the near future. Not only that, but this is meant to be a fun and silly competition! In the midst of so much negativity on the show, let’s just celebrate whoever seems to be enjoying it. Maybe Charo really is.
