Pretty Little Liars season 7 episode 11: Spencer, Toby hospitalized (video)
We anticipated that Pretty Little Liars season 7 episode 11 was going to have a Spencer – Toby reunion, but we didn’t exactly expect that the story on the show would end quite like this.
In the video HERE for the upcoming midseason premiere (and the first of ten final episodes), you can see Spencer getting carted into the hospital after suffering an almost-fatal bullet wound. She’s in need of a quick recovery, and it will be the responsibility of the EMTs and doctors to get her into a safe space. Given that it’s far too depressing to think of the show ending with Spencer dead, we have to figure that we’re going to see her recover and get better before we get around to the end of the series.
The big surprise is seeing Toby getting carted into the hospital not an extremely long period of time after Spencer did, given that he and Yvonne were just recently in an automobile accident. The two certainly are going to have common ground, though we’re also not entirely sure just how much time that they’re going to have to spend with one another in the midst of their current recovery. There are also some other issues and mysteries at hand, including the relationship between Spencer and Mary Drake. Plus, don’t discount the fact that we’ve still got a villain out there tearing their way through Rosewood, someone who won’t likely stop until the Liars are subdued once and for all. It’s imperative that the Liars find a way to stop them before things get worse.
As for what else is going to be coming over the course of the final season, be prepared to see some more relationship development between Aria and Ezra that comes as a result of Nicole’s return. Meanwhile, it’s looking like there is a chance for Emily and Alison before the end of this, but nothing is guaranteed. Given that they just hooked up, there may be a little bit of a better reason to have some optimism when it comes to Caleb and Hanna.
