Vera season 7 episode 3: Needles, haystacks, and one tough case
Next week’s new episode is entitled “Broken Promises,” and the biggest thing to look forward to here is simply the mystery of it all. There is some fun that can come from episodes from time to time where there is an abundance of evidence, but we do also enjoy some of the cases where you are left to pull a needle out of a haystack. For some more news on that, be sure to check out the synopsis below.
Vera season 7 episode 3 synopsis – “DCI Vera Stanhope investigates the murder of a promising journalism student, who falls to his death in suspicious circumstances. With no eyewitnesses and no immediate leads, Vera turns to friends and family to glean all she can about Jamie, and to discover who might have wanted him dead. Could his investigative journalism be responsible for making serious enemies?”
Based on what this synopsis says, it’s pretty easy to say that Jamie could have been exposed and/or killed as a result of something that he. After all, this also makes sense when discussing why there are not a sheer abundance of clues as to what happened to him. If there is someone who killed him as a result of a massive cover-up, they are more than likely going to be great at disposing of the majority of the evidence. This was planned, and the guilty party may have realized that eventually, most of the signs would point back to them. Therefore, they may have opted to do everything that they could to make sure they were in the clear.
Granted, odds are that they did not anticipate the vigilance of one Vera Stanhope!
