Ransom episode 12 return date: When Luke Roberts, cast are back
Unfortunately, you’re going to be waiting for a little while longer to see what lies beyond this. Per CBS, episode 12, entitled “Refuge,” is not going to be airing on the network until we roll around to Saturday, April 8. This is a story that is going to be a little bit of a twist on your average hostage situation, mostly because you’ve got the rare case of a repeat victim here.
For some further news, all you have to do is check out the official CBS synopsis below:
Ransom episode 12 synopsis – “Eric is called in to negotiate with a burglar who is holding a family hostage after they catch him breaking into their safe, but the team finds the circumstances suspicious after learning the husband has been kidnapped before.”
Typically in this space we like to discuss the ratings of the prior episode. Unfortunately, it’s a little bit difficult to do that here given that there was no episode last week! Unfortunately, the only thing that we can do is speak more in terms of the big picture. Earlier this week, CBS opted to renew many of their current shows for additional seasons, and Ransom was not a part of the mix. That leaves it firmly on the bubble, and because of its unique situation, it’s hard to know what the network wants or expects. Because it’s a co-production, they don’t have to pay for as much of the show as they would otherwise. Meanwhile, they also don’t have the same high expectations that they would for a show that airs during the week. Nobody programs Saturday in primetime anymore, so this is a different beast with a different set of expectations to go along with it.
In terms of when we’ll know for sure when Ransom is returning for another season, think along the lines of May.

Started of quite promising. Now the episodes are pretty paper thin. I would be shocked if it gets renewed.
