Grimm season 6 episode 12: Are Hank, Wu dead? What about Eve?
For the time being, it appears as though Hank and Wu are in fact dead. However, this is Grimm. Also, this is a cliffhanger. One of the things that this show does so well for the most part is give you things that look impossible, and then find a way to make them happen. Keeping these two characters somehow alive is not far out of the realm of possibility.
Now that we’ve said that, don’t expect anyone to tell you for certain one way or another. All star David Giuntoli would say on the subject to TVLine is basically that he couldn’t say anything at all! You’ll get your answer in a week’s time, so that’s not all that bad as far as waiting goes.
When it comes to discussing filming the big shootout, he was able to be a little more liberal when it came to what he had to say:
“That wasn’t a particularly long scene so when we shot it, I’m like holy s–t. This is intense. Police shootouts, you don’t think automatic weapons. It kept getting changed, and suddenly we have all automatic weapons. I got excited about it, I was like ‘Oh, sweet. I never get to do this stuff.'”
Moving forward, a big part of the fun (if you can call it that) is simply going to be seeing how the writers manage to get some of these characters out of their present bind — provided that they even can. Zerstörer is one heck of a monster, and a terrifying one to boot.
As for what you can expect in the series finale, Giuntoli did confirm to the website that there are going to be some time jumps. Consider that a way to know one way or another whether or not there’s closure. For us, it just makes us that much more excited to see the end.
