Designated Survivor episode 14 preview: Kirkman fights for the truth
Speaking of which, you’re going to see another crack of light surface on the next new episode entitled “Commander-in-Chief.” We have to think that there is some significance behind the show’s usage of the military title here. Maybe that is indicative of a larger role he’s going to play in some operations? That’s definitely one thing that you have to consider.
Meanwhile, we’ve got a little more scoop below in terms of what is coming up next.
Designated Survivor episode 14 synopsis – “Turmoil in an African country forces President Kirkman to rely on an unlikely ally for help, as Hannah’s investigation into the Capitol bombing takes an unexpected turn. Meanwhile, Emily settles into her new role as chief of staff while Aaron has to make a difficult choice.”
Difficult choices do seem to be the soup du jour on the show, and in the promo below, you see Kirkman doing almost everything we can in the midst of an interrogation to get answers as to how all of this was set up in the first place. Given where we’ve gone over the past two episodes, it feels pretty fair to ensure that this is just the beginning of some of the crazy twists that are still to come between now and when the season ends later in the spring.
Sooner or later, though, don’t you think that we’d get to a period of relative peace? That’s something we probably thought going into the season, but we’re not quite sure we think that anymore when you look at some of the current political landscape. Thankfully it’s a little less violent, but there are still twists around almost every corner.
