Survivor: Game Changers episode 5: Debbie gets furious; JT’s in danger

Following tonight’s Survivor: Game Changers, we were left to try and analyze the aftermath of the latest twist to the game: Two tribes in Nuku and Mana went to Tribal Council, but to eliminate one player rather than two. The exit of Malcolm Freberg tonight is something that is going to reverberate for a long time, given that he is such a strong player who brought a ton to the season.

In our mind, this goes down as one of the craziest episodes ever, but also one of the most unfair twists that we’ve seen. It would’ve been so easy for it to be all about Tribal lines and it just so happened to go somewhat off the rails.

So what is coming on Survivor: Game Changers episode 5? Well, we’re going to see a lot of reactions in the wake of everything that happened tonight, and JT will find himself even more on the outs on the Nuku tribe than he even did before. He’s got to find a way to stay alive now, and without Malcolm, his group doesn’t have much of the strength that they once did.

Meanwhile, over on Mana Debbie seems to completely lose her cool, and that leads to Tai and others trying to contain her. We’ve seen Debbie as the fun Survivor character before, but we’ve never seen her this enraged pretty much EVER.

The truth is that it’s admittedly somewhat hard at the moment to focus all that hard on everything that’s coming up next week, given that we’re still trying to digest everything that transpired tonight. After all, remember that this was such a chaotic hour, and we could’ve spent almost the entirety of it at that one Tribal Council watching so many of the different parts move around. One other thing that is currently interesting is that through four episodes, everyone to go home was a part of the original Mana tribe. Is anyone from Nuku going to be in danger in the near future? That’s something we’re curious to be finding out sooner rather than later.
