The Fosters season 4 episode 18 spoilers: Callie visits Aaron’s parents

The Fosters season 4 episode 18

Can you believe that the season’s almost over? It’s odd to, but The Fosters season 4 episode 18 is going to further us along that road. We’re only three episodes away following tonight from being on hiatus until the summer, and along this journey you better believe that the show’s going to work to cover some important ground. We’re going to understand further how hard Stef and Lena are going to work in order to make things meet at this complicated time. Meanwhile, you’re also going to see Jude make a bold / rather unfortunate move, and Callie will continue to do what she can in order to further help Aaron. This time around, it comes via visiting his parents.

For more, just look at some of the details below.

The Fosters season 4 episode 18 synopsis – “As Stef works longer hours in her new position, Lena feels overwhelmed trying to keep up with the complicated lives of their five teenagers in addition to the pressures of her own job. Jude, fed up with being bullied at school, resorts to bullying tactics of his own. Callie heads to Los Angeles with Aaron (guest star Elliot Fletcher, “Shameless”) to visit his parents, who are struggling with Aaron being transgender.”

There are times when Jude the character frustrates us more than almost anyone else on The Fosters, but the more that you think about it, the more understandable it is. Just remember that he is still a pretty young kid, and when you combine that with the stuff that he’s going through, it’s not all that surprising that he’s acting out and causing problems for himself at school. The biggest test for him is mostly going to be precisely what he does to bounce back after making some of his mistakes. This will help to define him further as a person in the end.

As for Callie, we do hope that she can help Aaron, but there’s also something else that she eventually is going to have to realize: It is rather difficult to continue to carry so much of the weight of most of the world on her shoulders. She does have to remember that it’s okay to focus on herself sometimes, even if we do root for her thanks to her fighting for what she believes in.

Promo – This gives you more of a sense of what’s coming. Not only that, but it seems as though Aaron’s not going to take all that well to some of Callie’s help in the first place.
