Scorpion season 3 episode 20 sneak peek: Will Walter be Toby’s best man?

Scorpion season 3 episode 20 is right around the corner, and in the latest sneak peek below, we see that Happy’s wedding planning is starting to get into gear!

When it comes to this process, though, it doesn’t take too long for one thing to be abundantly apparent: This is not something that Happy is a huge fan of. As a matter of fact, we’d be willing wager that she’s not all that much of a fan of it at all. She doesn’t want to go through the laundry list of chores that need to be done, and she’s not all that sold on the whole idea of the best man / maid of honor either. This all clearly sounds like it’s stuff that she’s going to need to be convinced into doing.

Well, here is where we do see the real meat of the sneak peek (and the hilarity) come into play. Walter seems to be 100% convinced that in the event Toby has a best man, it would be him. After all, he’s been his friend longer than anyone, and he’s the leader of the team and therefore this is what makes the most sense to him. Yet, Cabe argues that he is the reason that the two parties are even together, and this certainly is a compelling argument in its own right.

What we hope that all of this turns into is some sort of ridiculous / over-the-top battle between different forces all vying for the opportunity to be the people at the center of the big wedding, though on the Happy side of things it feels clear that it’ll be Paige who ends up being maid of honor if she goes that direction. It’s not like there are all that many other choices out there among significant female characters on the show. We’d be fine, though, if the guys battled it out for a little while longer over the course of the remaining six episodes of the years. (In case you missed it, this season’s having 25 episodes, which ties it with Hawaii Five-0 for the biggest order of any scripted primetime series this year.)
