TV Madness 2017: Bones and Poldark battle in round 2

What will a forensic anthropologist be able to take down a Captain in Cornwall? That’s what we are looking at in the latest Round 2 battle of our TV Madness 2017 tournament. Bones and Poldark are the two shows facing off today, and the winner were will face off on March 21 against whoever wins yesterday’s showdown between Supergirl and Vikings.

These are two shows that both had pretty impressive wins to make it into round 2 of the tournament, and that is what makes this one so exciting! You’ve got two shows that both proved themselves to be titans and real forces to be reckoned with in the first round. Who knows what’ll happen with the winner of this battle? They could have a good path to the final four.

Now, let’s break down the contenders further.

Bones (#6 seed) – The show started things off in the tournament as an underdog, but it had a commanding victory in the first round over Chicago Fire, taking in a whopping 80% of the vote. So what happened? All conventional wisdom suggests that the fan base, interested in giving the show a worthy send-off leading up to its series finale, decided to really come out in full force in order to further support the show. There are two more episodes to go this series, and if the show manages to stick around in the tournament, it could browned the winner right before the series finale.

Poldark (#2 seed) – Based on the results of some other past polls at the site, we had a great deal of confidence that the series starring Aidan Turner would end up getting to this point. It took out Blue Bloods with a strong 75%, and this brings it to this point. We know that Poldark fans are passionate and love the show; therefore, we’re pretty sure that it could give Bones a heck of a challenge here. (It’s also a challenge waiting until Poldark season 3, especially when we don’t know when it’s going to be premiering.)

In the end, we’ve got two great shows, and two equally-great group of fans. We’ll see what shakes down when it comes to the outcome.
