Once Upon a Time season 6 episode 13: ‘Ill-Boding Patterns’ and Beowulf hints
Per the show’s own executive producer in Adam Horowitz, the title for said installment is “Ill-Boding Patterns.” What does that mean? Well, it’s a reference from the epic Beowulf, which makes us wonder if we’re going to have more references and allusions to some of these characters and events. After all, the titles for these episodes do not come out of thin air. There is often a very specific reason for their creation, and you have to wonder what it is right now.
Unfortunately, there is not much more that we can tell you prior to the episode airing for one simple reason: There’s no synopsis! The show was kind enough to release one in advance for last week, but that is more the exception rather than the rule. Expect more written details on “Ill-Boding Patterns” as we get to either Monday or Tuesday, since that is when they tend to come out for everyone to see.
Promo – This gives you a whole lot more insight when it comes to the next episode, and it includes some of the devastating aftermath behind one of the biggest secrets in the show’s history: Back when he was full pirate, Hook killed Charming’s father for close to no reason, uttering that “dead men tell no tales” before sticking a sword into him. It’s hard to see a way in which he comes back from that when Charming finds out … and you have to believe he will. This is FAR from the sort of secret that remains hidden forever, and that’s something you just have to prepare for.
Oh, and this promo revealed some more Beowulf mythology, which could in turn be tied to whatever Robin of Loxley is up to in Storybrooke. At this point, it is absolutely clear that this is far from the same Robin who Regina once loved.
