Ransom episode 11 return date: News on ‘The Castle’ and ratings
Luckily, the good news is that you’re not going to have to wait nearly as long for new episodes of this show as you have some others in the past. Specifically, you’re going to be seeing this show return on Saturday, March 25 (in just two weeks), and with an installment entitled “The Castle.” Let’s just say that this could be what happens when a game like Pokémon GO turns bad and innocent people are lured into a dangerous trap from here — Eric and company have their work cut out for them trying to ensure their freedom.
Ransom episode 11 synopsis – “While playing a new smartphone game, five teenagers are lured into a trap in an empty castle in France, and Eric and the team are called in to negotiate their release.”
Sound interesting? While the show does remain as procedural as ever, it’s easy to be okay with that when they’re crafting stories that are as interesting as this one.
The latest ratings report
Ransom is certainly up-and-down when it comes to some of their numbers. When we reported on some of the viewing figures a week ago for episode 9, they were at a 0.5 in the 18-49 demographic and 3.9 million viewers. Basically, these were the strongest overall numbers that we’d seen ever since the show was shifted over to Saturday nights following its premiere on New Year’s Day.
However, in looking at last week’s numbers, it’s clear that the show went on a little bit of a downturn. The 0.4 rating it posted was a little more in line with what the show’s been drawing ever since it arrived in this new timeslot. Meanwhile, the 3.1 million viewers it scored were its lowest total to date. None of this is going to get the show canceled … at least if that wasn’t always the plan. As we’ve said all along, it’s hard to gauge with a Saturday show being funded via a co-production.
