Major Crimes season 5 spoilers: A different battle in the streets
Now, we look towards the next major question: What makes such a feud an important one for the Major Crimes Division to take on. You’re going to see the story play out on the upcoming March 29 episode entitled “Intersection.” Fritz Howard is going to deploy the division in order to look into precisely what happened with a hit-and-run that seems to be the result of a battle between the two different modes of transportation. In a way, we get why tensions could be high — but not on a killing-each-other level. After all, just remember for a moment here that traffic is already so terrible in the City of Angels, and it probably does not help matters at all that you’ve got so many people who are trying to ride more to get away from using bicycles at every turn. It’s a chance for them to turn things around, and do something a little bit different to avoid some of the traffic. It certainly doesn’t help when there are people who clearly don’t appreciate their transportation choices.
As for what else is coming within this episode of the show, the biggest thing that we can say is that we’re going to see Provenza start to look more towards his future, especially when it comes to retirement in the wake of everything that is going on in the battle to replace Russell Taylor. We can imagine this being frustrating and a major headache. Therefore, we’re not all that surprised that he wants to consider getting out of the situation. (To us, we can’t imagine the show without Provenza around — where would his energy go? It’d be a very different landscape.)
