Survivor: Game Changers episode 3: A tribe swap comes early
Specifically, losing Tony Vlachos is something we never saw coming entering the Survivor: Game Changers premiere, even if it is something that makes some sense. He was probably the biggest threat entering the game, and he was probably too paranoid for his own good. The game goes on, and it’s not going to give anyone a whole lot of time in order to figure out precisely where they stand in their tribe. A tribe swap is coming up shortly!
From here, we are also going to be seeing your first major mad dash of the season in terms of the search for a hidden immunity idol. It could be so crazy that JT opts to leave people on a boat in the middle of the ocean in order to look harder for it. We’re not sure being this obvious about what you’re doing is the right move, just because of the fact that it did in Tony to a certain degree.
In general, the first two episodes do show us that moving forward this season, it really is just about anyone’s game. One of the interesting things is that we had some huge characters like an Ozzy who was almost invisible in the premiere, and we’re starting to get some serious vibes that suggest that Hali Ford could go far. She had a confessional about being a “viper” that made us think that she’s got the perfect mindset for who she needs to be this season. This was a really fun start, but we do have a pretty good feeling that the craziness is only beginning. It better, since we have to hope that Tony didn’t die in the game in vain! Someone better bring it after he’s gone.
Unfortunately for Sandra, we still don’t think it’s good for her in Survivor: Game Changers episode 2 (or anywhere else, for that matter) that she’s calling herself the Queen and it’s so public how good a player she is. This is going to catch up with her soon, even if it hasn’t caught up with her yet.
If you missed it, be sure to read our Survivor: Game Changers premiere review that detailed some of what went down with Tony and Sandra. Tomorrow, we’ll be back to speak with both Tony and Ciera about all that went down. (Photo: CBS.)
