The Fosters season 4, episode 16 return date: When Maia Mitchell, cast are back

Is The Fosters new tonight on Freeform? We understand you asking the question, just as we also understand the hope that the Maia Mitchell series would be on the air. Given that the show airs two batches of ten episodes each, there’s a certain feeling that the show would run those stories more or less straight through.

Unfortunately, that’s not the case. There is no new episode on Freeform tonight, and instead the network is opting to dive a little bit into some Twilight nostalgia. Remember when vampires were all over the place? Well, tonight may be your golden opportunity to relive that a little bit.

Here’s what we can tell you in terms of The Fosters season 4, episode 16 return date: It’s next week. The show is making you wait, but luckily it’s not making you wait all that long. It only stinks just because like with almost every other good episode of the show, there’s a cliffhanger that is forcing you to put up with a rather-long and rather-excruciating wait.

Just to help make the waiting a little bit easier, here are a few different teasers for what you can expect from this upcoming episode entitled “The Long Haul.”

1. Sharon and Will are getting married! Well technically, the two may be getting married. Things at one point in the episode will look like there are some events in motion to making it happen. Whether or not this remains the case at the end of the episode remains to be seen.

2. Emma is going to try to make some things right with Jesus after her confession last week and the secret that she’s keeping. However, at some point along the way in this episode she will realize that he has a secret of his own that he’s hiding.

3. Finally, Jude manages to get some sort of proper sex education after going rogue to try and find it in one of the worst possible places. Unfortunately, this said education leads to him facing some bullying at school. We love that Jude is going to have a chance to learn more about himself. We just wish that we were in an inclusive world, and we’re still not there unfortunately.
