Bull episode 16 preview: Is Dr. Bull afraid of heights?

Bull episode 16 is airing on CBS next week, and based on the title in “Free Fall,” we certainly have plenty of reason to think that we’re in for an interesting, surprising hour of TV. Also, this looks like it could be an episode where one of Dr. Bull’s greatest fears is exposed … at least however much he’d allow it to be.

In the sneak peek below, you can see Bull and many other members of the TAC take to the skies in order to retrace the steps of a victim who died in the midst of a skydiving accident. This required the team to take a course preparing themselves to take a jump, and then even getting on the plane. Now that they’ve made it to this point, there are a couple of people who are very much down for the opportunity to give this a go. However, Bull himself seems a little less game. He claims that he’s not afraid, but he has a “healthy respect for gravity.” (Does that still mean he’s afraid? It’s hard to say.)

Let’s make one thing clear here first and foremost: If we were to skydive, we’ve got a pretty good feeling that we would feel the same exact way that Dr. Bull does here. There’s very little reason to actually want to do something that is going to throw you into this sort of danger. Why take the rest of jumping out of your airplane? Anyhow, that may just be us being overly cautious and not altogether interested in cheating death.

For the record, though, we should add in here that Benny also isn’t exactly keen to be plummeting from the top of the airplane, either. They’re more than fine to let some of the ladies do the skydiving, and then land back on the ground so that they can continue the investigation.

Given that there may not be many more new episodes of the show airing for the month of March, the one bit of advice that we’ve got for you is simple: Watch live and hope for an exciting case! While this show is pretty close to a lock for a season 2 renewal, it never hurts.
