Bones season 12 spoilers: Cyndi Lauper returns in penultimate episode

Cyndi Lauper returns -

It may be hard to imagine a television landscape that does not include Bones, but the reality here is that we’re getting rather close to it. There are only a handful of stories still to be told.

One of these said stories is going to be “The Daily in the Life” airing on March 21, which is the second-to-last episode of the entire series before “The End in the End” the following week. This is also the first of a two-part story; everything that happens in this installment is going to carry over to the series finale.

What is also rather impressive is the array of notable guest stars for this episode — Cyndi Lauper returns, but she is far from the only one. You’re also going to see more of Sara Rue and Eric Millegan, and then of course some of the familiar recurring characters like Jessica and Wendell. They’ve been around the show enough as of late that they are almost a part of the core family.

Within this episode, Brennan is going to do everything that she can to help Zach at trial, and Booth is going to be in an enormous predicament thanks to Kovac’s escape. It appears as though Kovac will be the Big Bad for the final episodes, as he’s orchestrating a plan that, per Fox, could be his “most dangerous” yet.

There are some other surprises that will be sprinkled in here across the board. For example, you are going to get a chance to see Angela receive some sort of news, and Jessica and Aubrey will figure out what exactly they want their future together to be. This is a show about closure just as it is intensity, and throughout the hour we anticipate us building towards a grand finale that is (hopefully) like no other that you’ve seen, and one that makes watching the entire journey worthwhile.

There is another episode of Bones airing on Tuesday entitled “The Steel in the Wheels.” If you want to read more about that, head over to the link here!
