Suits season 7 premiere date speculation; should it be final season?
Specifically, we’re thinking here in terms of when the show premiere aired across many years in the past. Typically, it either starts in June or July, so there is a little bit of flexibility there. For us, a June premiere is preferable just because it gives the series more opportunities to air out before we get close to the fall season, and it also helps to fill a significant June programming void. However, at the same time the network may want to pair it with Mr. Robot one more. There are different factors that go into this.
In terms of structure, that will most likely be consistent. The first batch of episodes will likely run for ten, and then there will be a back half of six. We did enjoy getting said back half starting in January this season; that’s not something that always happens.
Hopefully, at some point in season 7 there will be some buzz on that recently-reported spin-off series that could be launched featuring Gina Torres and her character of Jessica Pearson.
Could season 7 be the show’s last?
You can argue that the Jessica series would be a good way to give the franchise more life once this one ends, but we hope that this one isn’t ending just yet. Ideally, the hope would be for the show to get to season 8, the same length as some other shows such as Psych, Monk, and Royal Pains from the network. At this point, we understand that costs can change, and with that it becomes harder to bring the show back on the air.
The one cause for concern is that the ratings were down for much of the second half of the sixth season. You can blame some of this on there typically being fewer voters for the winter seasons, but also on viewer erosion that does tend to happen over time.

I would like the show to come back in June. Love the show. Hope it makes it to season 8.
