‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 8: What’s next for Callen and Anna?
There was a time in which we were very worried about the couple and their future on the show, mostly because of our rampant / over-paranoid fears that Anna could be the mole. Now, we’re reasonably thrilled that said fears are sated. While we’re not sure that the two will have a lot of time together when the show returns with new episodes on March 5 (watch a preview for that now here), they will have more of a chance for romance on the upcoming Sunday, March 12 installment.
Based on what we’ve heard about this episode (entitled “Queen Pin”), the two are going to be in the midst of a romantic dinner together when Hetty is going to assign the two of them a prisoner-escort mission. Consider this further evidence that crime never quite takes a break, and it doesn’t matter who you are in the process. One way or another, this is just something that you’re going to have to figure out a way to deal with if you want to be in this job!
Aside from the Callen – Anna relationship, there is one other important part of this story coming up: Callen’s usual partner Sam assuming a longstanding alter ego in order to go deep undercover. This feels almost reminiscent of what Gibbs did earlier this season in “Off the Grid,” where he was willing to put himself in danger / harm’s way in order to ensure that he was able to stop someone high on the most-wanted list.
Basically, this episode is going to have a little bit of romance mixed with an exciting case — it’s more or less everything that you could want from NCIS: Los Angeles. In the process, we still don’t quite know how Kensi and Deeks are going to be factored into all this, but we’re definitely very much excited to find out.

Callen and Anna are far more interesting than Kensi and Deeks (that relationshjip is practically the most boring one on TV). His relationship with Joelle was silly (Joelle as CIA was even sillier). The fact that she’s Arkady’s daughter is just perfect.

I Love Callen and Anna together. Chris and Bar have a great chemistry together. Callen had a hard time finding a woman in her life and Anna is the ideal woman for Callen. I hope to see Anna in several episodes!

Callen’s relationship with Anna is so boring and forced and after watching how emotional he was concerning Joelle why would he be so crazy and trusting of Anna considering her family connections! So if this was the real world what Federal Agency would let someone with Russian ties help with a case!

If this were the real world, Kensi and Deeks would NEVER continue as partners in the field. And THAT relationship would put anyone to sleep, it’s so boring. lol

No thanks on this forced ship. Callen and Anna are boring together. They have no heat. No chemistry at all. I fast forward every scene Anna is in. Plus her accent is so hard to understand. Zzzzzz!

Kensi and Deeks is the forced relationship. That’s why I fast forward all the Densi scenes. lol

Anna and Callen have absolutely no chemistry, Anna actually has no chemistry with any member of the cast. It feels like TPTB are trying to create a “ship” where there is none. I guess I do not understand this at all. NCIS LA has a “ship” that people want to see , Kensi and Deeks, and a great bromance with Sam and Callen. They should leave the shipping to Deeks and Kensi and pair Callen with Sam. I am not sure I can watch another episode with Anna , I will probably DVR and wait for Deeks and Kensi scenes and Sam scenes.

Kensi and Deeks? Boring!! I’m so gladthere’s been so little of them this season; the show is much better and much more watchable without their adolescent banter. :-)

I just don’t like her. There is no chemistry with them (IMO), but it looks like they are going to shove her down our throats whether we like her our not. Will probably skip this one live and watch it on demand so I can fast forward past her.
