Is Blue Bloods season 7, episode 17 new tonight? The CBS schedule ahead

Is Blue Bloods new tonight on CBS? It’s fair to ask the question, especially given that the last month or so in particular has been especially kind to the series. There have been new episodes virtually every week, and it’s been a rather great blessing to have.

Alas, all good things must come to an end, and with that we have to start looking forward to the idea of not having any more new episodes of the show for a bit. There is no new episode tonight, and there won’t be another one, unfortunately, until we roll around to Friday, March 10. We’ve already shared some details about that episode here, but it looks to be an eventful one, especially for Frank as he navigates another PR crisis. (There is also set to be a big Jamie – Eddie story taking place, but one on paper that may not have anything to do with romance.)

So if you’re wondering about the rest of the schedule for the season, there are a few more things that we can give you when it comes to information. (Alas, it’s a little too early for the network to have the rest of their official schedule handed down.) First and foremost, there will probably be a relative shortage of new episodes in March, largely because of the NCAA Tournament that is taking place. Odds are, we’ll be lucky to get two of them. In the middle of April, we’ll probably start to get back in the regular rotation of getting new stories. We only have six more to go this season, and odds are the producers would like to keep the show on the air until May.

In next week’s “is Blue Bloods new tonight?” update (the question will likely come back up), hopefully there will be some further information to share regarding scheduling and some repeats that are coming between now and the finale.
