Vicki Gunvalson returning for Real Housewives of Orange County season 12; Kelly Dodd, as well
According to a report coming in now via Us Weekly, Gunvalson will be returning once more to the show that started it all for the entire Bravo franchise. Not only that, but this is her twelfth straight season on the program. She is to date the only person to have appeared on every season from start to finish, and this in itself if an achievement.
Vicki over time amassed a huge fan following on the show thanks to a few different things, from her “whoop it up” lifestyle to her being unafraid to share intimidate details. Her daughter’s also become a key recurring player in much of what transpires.
The same source also claims that Kelly Dodd will return for her second season with the franchise. Dodd started things off with a bang on the eleventh season of the show, and it never seemed like things called down after that. She was a firecracker for most of the season, and stirred things up with Alexis Bellino and many other women. Ironically, it was Vicki who she grew the closest to for most of the season, and their relationship blossomed over time as they occasionally felt ostracized from the rest of the group.
Is stability a good thing?
For the most part, the argument to make here is “yes.” You want people to know the stars of your show and want to follow them. It’s good to have a few little things that are different here and there, which is why it’s great there is one returning Housewife from a past season stopping by.
