‘Supernatural’ season 12, episode 14: Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, and ‘The Raid’

Will ‘Supernatural‘ season 12, episode 14 continue to paint the picture of family dysfunction? Some of the first details for “The Raid” are below, and chaos seems to be a key ingredient for the Winchester family.

The first thing that you should know about this episode is what it contains: Vampires! Also, it will contain more of Mary Winchester and the British Men of Letters. Their association defined much of the season as of late, in addition to serving as a clear, obvious source of tension with the brothers. Will that continue? You have to believe so.

Now, the time feels right to hand down some official details in terms of what is coming up.

Synopsis – “A chance to take out a nest of vampires backfires when the alpha-vamp shows up and turns the tables on Mary (guest star Samantha Smith) and The British Men of Letters, who are doing their best to recruit Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles).”

Our take

Will the British Men of Letters really be successful in such a question? It’s hard to imagine so. You see, Sam and Dean aren’t exactly the sort to follow a pack. They’re not lone wolves — they operate together, since that’s kind of the opposite of lone wolves. They’re a duo act instead, one that occasionally becomes a trio thanks to the presence of Castiel. There’s no guarantee he shows up here.

Still, expectations are meant to shatter sometimes. There’s still plenty of time to learn if Sam and Dean balk these expectations and become a part of the group. We’ll learn in seven days precisely what is coming up, and how the story will press forward. The best news is that there is still a ton of time to go this season in order to tell stories.
